Pay & Display ParkingPay and Display Parking

The use of Pay and Display ticket machines is a successful and proven system that has been implemented with car parking nationwide for many years.

Numerous car parks managed and operated by ANCP utilise the Pay and Display parking system, where patrons are required to obtain and display a valid ticket for parking on the dashboard of their vehicle at all times whilst located in the car park. Pay and Display ticket machines are conveniently located throughout the car park for ease of use.

The ticket display system assists with ensuring the availability of convenient parking for customers and visitors to shopping centres, medical suites, office complexes etc. The system discourages those who don’t pay or take advantage of the facility for unrelated activity, e.g commuter parking or other which is detrimental to the purpose of the car park.

ANCP car parks are patrolled by trained parking patrol staff who check and ensure a fair and proper use of the facility which includes ensuring disabled bays are not abused. The Contractual Terms and Conditions of parking are clearly detailed on signage.

Payment Notices are generally issued in most cases for the following breaches:

  • A valid or current ticket is not clearly displayed on the dashboard of a vehicle.
  • A vehicle parked in a designated disabled bay that is not displaying a current authorised disabled permit.
  • Parking in a loading zone for an excessive period of time or not engaged in setting down or loading goods.
